The Art of Applying Knowledge: Why Reading is Only the Beginning

As an international adjunct professor and nonprofit executive, I often work with students and professionals who are passionate about various topics. However, today I want to discuss my passion – learning through reading and experiencing.

Reading is not just a hobby or a way to pass the time. It is a way to expand my knowledge, gain new insights, and discover different perspectives. Reading opens the door to endless opportunities and enables us to go further.

But reading alone is not enough. Applying what we have learned through reading to our lives is crucial. Without action, reading is merely entertainment. While entertainment has its place, the real value of reading comes from using the knowledge and insights gained to improve our lives.

In short, my passion for learning through reading and experiencing drives me to constantly seek out new books, explore different topics, and apply what I read to my life. It is an endless journey of discovery and growth that I am grateful for.
