“All things are created twice. There is a mental (first) creation and a physical (second) creation. The physical creation follows the mental, just as a building follows a blueprint. If you don’t make a conscious effort to visualize who you are and what you want in life, then you empower other people and circumstances to shape you and your life by default.”
– Stephen Covey
This quote by Stephen Covey is one of my all-time favorites, and it has been a guiding principle in my life for many years. For some reason, it resonated with me, and I realized that knowing that everything starts with an idea is freeing and allows me to see progress when none is evident.
I have always been a big believer in the power of visualization, and I enjoy visualizing my success. I believe that having a clear vision of what you want to achieve is the first step in creating the life you want. Your thoughts have the power to shape your life, and by visualizing your success and being intentional about what you want to create, you can take control of your life and create the future you want.
So how can you harness this power of visualization in your own life? It starts by taking control of your thoughts and being intentional about what you want to create. You have the power to shape your life, but you need a clear vision of what you want that life to look like.
The first step in creating the life you want is to visualize it in your mind.
Consider what you want to achieve and what kind of person you want to be. Imagine yourself living the life you want, and make it as detailed as possible. This mental creation is the blueprint for your physical creation.
The second step is to take action and make your vision a reality. This is where the hard work comes in. You must be disciplined and focused to make your dream a reality. Staying motivated and on track becomes easier when you have a clear picture of what you want to achieve.
Your thoughts have the power to shape your life. By visualizing your success and being intentional about what you want to create, you can take control of your life and create the future you want. So take some time to think about what you want to achieve, and start creating the life you want today.
Remember that it’s not just about visualizing your success but also about taking action to make it a reality. You need to be disciplined and focused, and you need to be willing to put in the hard work required to achieve your goals.
