Did someone say, Doctor?

I would like to share with you all that I am now officially done with my doctoral degree. I would like to first thank God for giving me the power and knowledge in achieving such a long and life-changing dream. I also thank my wife, Maria, for always believing in me. She has been my constant and number one supporter, and I know that I would have been lost without her love throughout this journey. I did this for my kids. I did this for my family. I did this for my community.

I am very familiar with the saying it is lonely at the top but that never has scared me. I know that strength comes from the power of the team.

Today I acknowledge that I have completed climbing a huge mountain, but I did not do it alone. I did it with the support of God, my wife, my kids, my family, and my community.

I know that this life is a bumpy journey, and there will be more mountains on the horizon. Thank you all for being on this road trip with me, and here’s to all the mountains ahead of us.
